Retired FBI Agent Duncan Wyatt and his exotic-dancer girlfriend Lo-Lo Del Ray, the heroes from Key West Takedown, return in an all new mystery/thriller Key West Winter Blues.

Once Wyatt makes contact, the fun and the danger begin. Surveillance on Kendrick leads Wyatt to a master criminal known as the Turk, who operates out of Miami Beach. A long suspected importer of drugs, a connection is made between the Turk and Kendrick and suspicions arise that a major supply of drugs from Europe is coming to the Keys. Suspicions prove wrong and Wyatt and Lo-Lo find themselves at the center of a very deadly assassination plot in which their lives hang in the balance.

Thoroughly enjoyed this second book by author. Good characters and good story with just enough humor, intrigue and action. Good book to read!
If you enjoy Florida mysteries with plenty of action and humorous dialogue, you will like this book. Fast paced with very interesting characters. This book has a great storyline with plenty of twists and turns. The main characters are people that you will want to hang out with. Enjoy!
I would like to recommend this book to everyone who wants to read a very interesting and exciting story where the action never stops. I have found that these books are very hard to put down. I will be looking forward to reading the next book from this author.
I was interested to see what happened next to Duncan and Lo Lo, and the story itself was basically a good one. However, I cannot believe that any author would knowingly put his/her name on a manuscript that evidently had absolutely no editing at all. There are innumerable spelling and punctuation errors throughout the book, but what made me even more upset were the vocabulary errors ("president" for "precedent" stands out) and other very careless errors. He writes one conversation between Wyatt and Morgan, and ends up calling both characters the same name= or, the one character answers his own questions on the phone... There was another passage where LoLo is in the pool and Duncan is joining her. He writes that Duncan takes off his clothing and dives in, swimming to LoLo, but in the next paragraph, he is fully clothed and she asks him to go inside to get something before he comes in the pool. When he comes back out, the entire paragraph about him disrobing is repeated verbatim. In my opinion, there is no excuse for putting such a "hot mess" on the market. Spell check, grammar check, and good old fashioned proof-reading do wonders!
Although it makes be absolutely crazy to see how many books are published these days with multiple errors in the, this one was the worst I have encountered. If I hadn't been interested in seeing how the story was resolved, I would have quit reading altogether. I know in the era of self-publishing, we have no guarantee that anyone but the person who wrote the book actually has seen it, but I would encourage authors to be more careful, or else anyone who reads at a 4th grade level or above will quickly dump them from any future reading lists! And, we all know that in the age of social media, word travels quickly.
The book appears to be a kind of 'police procedural' with a former but fully recovered FBI agent as the protagonist.
I did NOT like the book at all. Completely predictable with a final preposterous plot.
Not recommended for anytime not under influence of something.
Two stars - despite many obvious errors in the text, the book is not too loquacious.
I really enjoyed both books.... Great job!
Another good story I read for pleasure and relaxation and this book was what the doctor ordered
