How I Taught My Dad to Break 80 Creative Golf Instruction for Lower Scores eBook Ryan Jewett Maya Jewett
Whether you’re a novice golfer, par-3 enthusiast, the king of putt-putt, or simply the partner of a golfer who suffers from after-golf-mood slumps, this book is for you. Break 80 is written through the eyes of a Japanese Chin named Maya -- she’s a dog resembling a Pekingese. Maya offers advice on all aspects of golf; to name a few examples, pre-shot routine, grip, foot position, wrist angle, putting, cleaning clubs, and, perhaps my favorite, the jitters. She gleaned her knowledge from years of watching her father play golf and feeling him wrestle with the psychological aspect of the sport. There are two main things that I love about this book. First, it’s light and humorous. If you have a dog I guarantee you’ll laugh out loud at least a few times while you learn how to improve your golf game. If you don’t have a dog, or you hate dogs, you’ll still learn a lot about golf. Secondly, I love the concise writing style. Maya gets right to the point without being terse or sounding like a drab instruction manual. Her explanations and examples are easy to understand and implement. I’m sure my golf game with improve now that I’ve read this book.Product details

I like the analogizes and the lesson. Intertwining a dog's life through a golf lesson...brilliant!! Is Maya free for a one on one tutorial?
Already knew most of what was presented.
I'm not that into golf but it was fun to read! The imagery and insights were very creative. D
Whether you are new to the game or a more seasoned player, this book is a must-read. The style in which it is written is informative but with a light sense of humor that makes you learn and laugh at the same time. Basically instructional, yet easy to understand, the light-hearted banter between a dog and his master takes a learning experience to a totally new level - Enjoyable, Informative and Fun .
